NAME

zerodds-corba-bridged - DDS to CORBA GIOP/IIOP bridge daemon

SYNOPSIS

zerodds-corba-bridged [--config FILE] [--set PATH=VALUE]... [--check-config] [--iiop-bind ADDR] [--domain ID] [--topic REPO_ID=TOPIC]... [--dump-iors] [-V | -h]

DESCRIPTION

zerodds-corba-bridged maps CORBA operations onto DDS request/reply topic pairs and DDS samples onto oneway CORBA calls. It serves IIOP and, with a certificate, SSLIOP; it writes one IOR per mapping. GIOP 1.0 to 1.2 are accepted; a mapped operation needs GIOP 1.2. With corba.csiv2.enabled, every request's SAS EstablishContext is evaluated against a GSSUP password file (CORBA 3.4 Part 2 §10/§24); a rejected one gets NO_PERMISSION with a SAS ContextError attached, additively next to SSLIOP client certificates and the ACL. With corba.ior.publish_to_naming, every mapping's IOR is rebind into corba.ior.naming_service (a corbaname: or corbaloc: URL) at start and unbind at a clean stop. corba.naming.serve (hosting a NameService in-process, sharing this daemon's own transport) is not built. Implements docs/specs/zerodds-corba-bridge-1.0.md.

OPTIONS

--config=FILE

Base file, plus FILE.d/. Without it: corba-bridged.yaml and corba-bridged.d/ in the system directory. See zerodds-corba-bridged.yaml(5).

--set=PATH=VALUE

One value above all files; repeatable. Every option below except --dump-iors is short for --set of its file key.

--check-config

Check the configuration, print every value with its origin, exit 0 (valid) or 1 (invalid).

--iiop-bind=ADDR

IIOP listen address. Default: 0.0.0.0:6833.

--ssliop-bind=ADDR

SSLIOP listen address; enables SSLIOP. Default: 0.0.0.0:6834.

--domain=ID

DDS Domain ID.

--orb-id=ID

ORB-Identity.

--tls-cert=FILE

SSLIOP server certificate (PEM); only together with --tls-key.

--tls-key=FILE

SSLIOP server key (PEM).

--topic=REPO_ID=TOPIC

One more mapping, repeatable.

--dump-iors

Print one line per mapping, repo_id operation IOR:..., and exit.

--log-level=LEVEL

One of trace, debug, info, warn, error.

--metrics=ADDR

Prometheus listen addr.

Test hooks. Real options, documented because the program accepts them and an option nobody can find is one nobody maintains.

--idle-timeout-ms=N

Stop after N milliseconds, as on SIGTERM.

-V, --version

Print version.

-h, --help

Show the option synopsis.

SIGNALS

SIGTERM and SIGINT stop the daemon: requests arriving then get TRANSIENT, pending requests get their reply or their TIMEOUT for at most 30 s, then every connection gets CloseConnection. SIGHUP reads the configuration again: the ACL and the SSLIOP certificate apply from then on (the certificate to new connections); changed mappings, binds or domain need a restart and are logged. A configuration that does not load changes nothing.

ENVIRONMENT

OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT

Optional OTLP endpoint, such as http://localhost:4318.

ZERODDS_CORBA_ADVERTISE_HOST

The host the IORs name when corba.iiop.bind is a wildcard address; the setting corba.iiop.advertise_host, above the files, below --set. Default 127.0.0.1.

EXIT STATUS

0 normal stop, 1 configuration, 2 bind, 3 DDS, 4 TLS.

FILES

/etc/zerodds/corba-bridged.yaml, the file named by corba.ior.ior_file.

BEZEICHNUNG

zerodds-corba-bridged - Bridge-Daemon von DDS nach CORBA GIOP/IIOP

ÜBERSICHT

zerodds-corba-bridged [--config DATEI] [--set PFAD=WERT]... [--check-config] [--iiop-bind ADR] [--domain ID] [--topic REPO_ID=TOPIC]... [--dump-iors] [-V | -h]

BESCHREIBUNG

UMGEBUNGSVARIABLEN
